In September 2023, I piloted the very first Artisan Market fundraiser event for the YMCA of Niagara. The event raised money for the YMCA's Stronger Together foundation and connected the local community, YMCA members, and small businesses. My role included organizing, planning, and running the events, sourcing the small businesses, and helping with marketing initiatives.
The first event's success resulted in a second event only two months later, cumulatively raising $2000+ towards the Stronger Together Foundation and supporting 30+ small businesses.

With the success of the previous two fundraiser events, I am currently working with the YMCA to pilot a new event with the intention of being run throughout the year at each YMCA branch location throughout Niagara.
Mission:
Connect and highlight the YMCA as a community pillar with other community pillars and specially selected local small businesses that align with YMCA values.

Objective:
Highlight and demo programs offered through the YMCA entice new visitors to join the YMCA.

Collaborations:
We are collaborating with community pillars such as the local public library, art gallery, local museum, benevolent fund and other small businesses.

Strategic Marketing:
To highlight the YMCA's programs and increase membership conversions on the day of the event, a special one-day-only promotion will be available to the public. This promotion is unlike anything the YMCA has done before and will be delivered on the day of the event to complement the high energy of the event and leverage scarcity with the goal of membership conversions.

As a content creator, I was responsible for photography and social media video content on the day of the event.
